Pollination Services
We offer the pollination of horticultural crops - apples, pears, cherries, stone fruits and almonds. A very interesting fact is that 65% of horticultural and agricultural crops introduced to Australia since European settlement require honeybees for pollination. Honey bees are an essential part of the food chain.
Seasonal Varieties
The main varieties produced this season in the local area are Yellow Box and Red Gum. These are both medium flavoured with a low glycemic index. Both these honeys only produce every two years and this is also dependent on weather conditions.
Carbon Footprint
We are currently assessing our carbon footprint and re-evaluating our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. We have produced a low carbon honey this season with the ultimate aim of being carbon neutral in 2-3 years.
Packaging
Packaged honey of 250g, 500g, 1kg. 1.5kg and 3kg as well as bulk honey is available. We also specialize in comb honey and creamed honey as well as 'Energize' Honey straws (8g) in packs of 10 or boxes of 100.
